Wahey skins! I should really get a premium membership so I can fully appreciate using these skins and justify making my own. I'd love to learn how to master CSS and HTML so I could do that. If anyone knows any good tutorials please let me know! Also I really want to make polls! Polls are cool, it's quite a fun little way of giving yourself the illusion of power and control, making little minions answer my questions and eventually do my bidding..AHEM! I did not just type that.

I'm still open for requests by the way if anyone's still interested. I've been thinking about closing requests and starting commissions actually, I could do with a few more coins! The thing is I don't know if anyone would want to pay for my stuff XD If anyone would be willing to sponsor me for some art just let me know and I'll set up a pay-pal. ^^

So yeah, purpose for the journal! I watched UP the other day (amazing film if you haven't already then go see it) and I was discussing it with my friend who wasn't so keen on it. Her reasons for not liking it were the plot/script ect, which I can accept, as there are only so few in an audience who can tolerate the sudden introduction of a character being a talking dog. The thing that bothered me, was that she never once mentioned the art or visual effects in the film, which was what blew me away. I know that not everyone is equally interested in film art and so on, but I find it really hard not to appreciate the animation of the film I'm watching, because of the amount of intense work and labour the artists put in to create the dynamics and atmosphere of the world they just created. Gah, I rant! But the point I'm trying to get across (not very well XD), is that it's extraordinary what labour of love the animators put into creating films, that they are willing to spend countless hours filling in the detail that only less than half of the audience may or may not notice.

I'm a really irritating person to watch Disney movies with. If I ever sit down to watch a disney movie with my friends to watch The Lion King or something, I'm always told to shut up about the complexity of the brushstrokes or smoothness of the tweening transitions before I get a spoon shoved up my nose. It's really hard to keep quiet about art when you're essentially watching a moving painting. Is there anyone out there watching me who is an animation fanatic as well and would like to discuss/rant about their favourite movies with me I would love to do so! I'm sure you've experienced similar problems to me! ^_^
